I hope you enjoy keeping up to date with her restoration and progress back to how she looked in her prime in the 50's.
Firstly I would like to introduce myself, my name is Darren and having completed 22 years in the Royal Navy as a Warfare Specialist and having close ties for so long with the Royal Navy and what it represents this once in a lifetime opportunity was one that could not be missed.
Having seen the vessel for the first time in Portschester in September 2010 she looked tired and in desperate need of attention. As she is the last in her Class of ship it has become my obsession and dream to keep the Name and the Ship HMS EGERIA alive and well for many years to come.
